Activities
The Taiga Cordillera ecozone is very sparsely populated. The total population is 300. Much of the area is basically
untouched wilderness. Subsistence hunting, trapping, and fishing control the local economy, though adventure tourism should
not be forgotten. some mining has been done there as well. The biggest community in the Taiga Cordillera is
Old Crow, which is home to 256 people.
